Your right to withdraw
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from your order within 14 days without giving a reason (Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance no. 34/2014, implementing EU Directive 2011/83).
The 14 days start on the day you, or someone you name (other than the courier), receive the goods. If your order arrives in several parcels, they start on the day you receive the last one.
Made to order doesn’t change this. Our products are standard configurations (a material and a size chosen from the product page) that we produce after you order. That still counts as a normal purchase, so the right of withdrawal applies in full. The only exception would be an item made to your own individual specification, and we’d tell you clearly before you order if that is the case.
How to withdraw
Tell us before the 14 days run out. Email letsbuild@oskind.com with a clear statement that you want to withdraw, your name and your order number. You can use the model form below, but you don’t have to. We’ll confirm by email that we received it.
Sending the goods back
- Send the goods back within 14 days of telling us you’re withdrawing, to:
- You pay the cost of return shipping. Use a tracked service and pack the parts well; they are heavy and can damage packaging in transit.
- Please include your order number in the parcel.
Your refund
- We refund everything you paid, including the original standard shipping cost, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
- If you chose a more expensive delivery option than our standard one, we only refund the cost of standard delivery.
- We refund to the same payment method you used, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You don’t pay any fee for the refund.
- We may wait to refund until we have received the goods back, or until you send us proof that you have sent them, whichever comes first.
Condition of returned goods
You can handle the product as you would in a shop to check it (for example, test that the parts fit together). If a returned product has lost value because it was handled more than that (for example, it was drilled, cut, painted, or damaged by use), we may reduce the refund by that loss in value.
Faulty or wrong items
A faulty, damaged or wrong item is not a withdrawal. It’s covered by the 2-year legal guarantee of conformity (see our terms, section 8). Email us with your order number and photos. We pay all shipping costs and repair, replace or refund the item.
Free add-ons and files
Repository add-ons and design files are free, so there is nothing to refund.
Business customers
The right of withdrawal applies only to consumers. If you bought as a business, contact us and we’ll try to find a fair solution.
